Great Low Profile Gas Block - Brad

I purchased a Super Gas Block and installed it on a Spikes Optimal 14.5 barrel with a free float rail. The gas block is perfect and leaves plenty of room for my 1.5" inner diameter rail to help with heat dissipation. I like the cross pin design to make it a bomb proof installation. My upper shot perfect with no failures using cheap ammunition. I am sure the Geissele Super Gas Block was a factor. During installation of the Gas Block I messed up one of the set screws. Geissele Customer Service took care of my problem quick. Solid company with solid products.

Fantastic Gas Block - Bob

I did the bomb-proof installation of this gas block on my hunting 308 AR. I'll be putting it all future AR builds. Not only is the product fantastic, but so are the instructions.

Best on the market - Ryan

This is hands down one of the best gas blocks on the market. It's robust while remaining light weight and super tough. A huge shout out and thank you to the people in the customer service department. They are quick to answer questions and very knowledgeable. They got back to me in less than a day with a very clear answer to my question. Thank you. Get this product, you won't be sorry. Installation directions are easy to follow and the bomb proof installation is not nearly as scary as it seems. Thanks again guys and gals!

Reliable gas block - Bryce

Product was packaged well and from first sight you can tell that the super gas block is sturdy and reliable. Only thing that I wish was added was an Allen key to fit the set screws. other than that installation and lining up was easy.

Nice, precision, gas block. - David

I purchased two of these during the 4th of July 2016 sale. Although they were blems, they still looked very nice and fit as designed. I mounted one to a stainless barrel using set screws and spot drilling, and the other to a nitride barrel using the bomb proof pin. I used an end mill for this hole. Both installations went without issue due to the comprehensive instructions included with the product. You can't go wrong with this block. I would buy again.

Great Product - dusty

This is the best gas block I have used. It fits my Wilson Combat Barrel better than the one I was using. Great fit and finish.

Precision part, excellent instructions - Mark

Everyone knows about the precision of Geissele products -- this block is no exception. That's not the reason I'm leaving comment.

At one level, installing a gas block is the same every where -- align, tighten set screws, cross-pin if you desire. What's different here is in the instructions Geissele provides the exact McMaster-Carr part numbers for the right dimple drill bit, cross-pin drill bit and end mill to create a flat surface for the cross-pin drill to start. These made all the difference in making this an easy (if a bit nerve-racking for a first-timer) installation.

Two comments: (i) alignment in the vise on the drill press with the X, Y and Z axes is *everything* -- take your time to get it right!; and (ii) the instructions suggest using the end mill to create a starting flat if you are cross-pinning a nitrited barrel. I found that the end mill dimeter was such a precise match to the ID of the gas block pin hole (Geissele precision again) that I could use the end mill to help align the block in the vise. I then used the end mill to drill the entire cross-pin groove in the stainless Ballistic Advantage barrel -- in cut like butter with a slow advance rate and plenty of cutting fluid, and left behind a perfectly straight hole for the final drill pass through the block and barrel to bring the hole ID to correct size for the pin.

Obviously, I highly recommend getting the McMaster-Carr bits, and getting this gas block!
