AM-1 Knife, No Sheath

The AM-1 knife, by Abraham & Moses, offers a modern interpretation of the timeless drop point design. Crafted from D2 Steel, the AM-1 was designed for bushcraft, survival and use as a camp knife. With an overall length of 9.5” and a blade measuring 4.6”, this full tang knife is ready for the most demanding tasks. The skeletonized body helps the AM-1 maintain excellent balance, and the 3D machined G10 handles allow the user excellent control with all types of grips and hand positions. The AM-1 is a work-horse of a knife, ready to accompany you on your next backpacking or hunting trip.

Basic Maintenance

We chose PD1, D2 and 440C for our lineup because of their superior wear resistance and toughness.  These alloys stand up to the rigors of prolonged survival scenarios, when strength, edge quality, and long service life are top priorities. These materials only require basic care to continue looking great.  Clean the blade after use with mild soap and water, then dry and apply a light coat of oil.  Be mindful that more frequent care will be required in high humidity and salt water environments.  These simple steps will help to prevent corrosion and keep the blade in top condition for years to come.
