GFW 8" 300 Blackout -DDC (SBR)
GFW 8" 300 Blackout -DDC (SBR)
Compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver, the Geissele Freedom Weapon® (GFW®) maintains the well-known performance and reliability of the Super Duty platform in a package ideal for confined spaces and tight storage situations.
The new dual-telescoping GFW stock intuitively opens by simply pulling to the rear and can be deployed from its stowed position immediately and effortlessly. The stock has two solid-lock positions for deployment and requires the deliberate, but simple use of the trigger and detent mechanisms to collapse. While maintaining an ultra-compact footprint, a consistent cheek-weld can be achieved to offer the optimal shooting experience. The GFW stock design allows unimpeded access to all firing controls even when fully collapsed.
Reliability and shooting performance are at the forefront of the GFW design. Utilizing the patented Geissele Phased Array® gas system, the GFW is precisely balanced to optimize the 8” barrel length. This multi-port system works in concert with the monolithic bolt carrier buffer system and custom length Super 42® braided buffer spring to achieve surprisingly smooth and controllable recoil impulse. The barrel is Cold Hammer Forged and chrome-lined with a tapered profile, sporting the HUXWRX Flash Hider- QD 762 for easy mounting of the patented HUXWRX Flow series of suppressors.
The 300 Blackout GFW features the proven controls and components of the Super Duty line, including the SSA X® trigger, MK16 rail, Airborne Charging Handle, Super Configurable Safety, Maritime Bolt Catch, Antistrike Super Compact Gas Block and ergonomic A17 grip.
For serious use in a remarkably small package, the GFW redefines the personal defense platform.

What is Geissele Nanoweapon®?
Geissele Nanoweapon® (also known as Picatinny DSL) is a family of Durable Solid Lubricant coatings which was developed by ARDEC. It is available exclusively from Geissele Automatics. We continued the development of Picatinny DSL so that its level of corrosion, wear and abrasion resistance is currently unmatched among firearm coatings. Nanoweapon® is applied at low temperatures so that the underlying metallurgy of the part is unaffected by the application process. Our coating also has a surface hardness roughly equivalent to synthetic diamond. This makes Geissele Nanoweapon® harder than sand, easily rejecting carbon and making cleaning a breeze, on top of allowing the firearm to operate normally with less lubrication.
